Questions about cost

What does Save2Obsidian cost?

Nothing. Sign in with X, install the Obsidian plugin, and start saving. There is no plan to choose, no card to enter, and no trial that expires.

Is there a daily or monthly save limit?

No save is refused for hitting a quota. We still record how many saves an account makes so we can watch capacity and spot abuse, but nothing is enforced against you: the only expectation is reasonable personal use, not bulk scraping, automation, or resale. We may step in if a single account degrades the service for everyone else.

Will it stay free?

A paid plan may appear later, because running the service does cost us something. If that happens we will announce it on this page in advance, and nothing will ever be charged without you actively choosing to buy. No payment method is collected today.

Does Save2Obsidian support video posts?

Video posts are saved as their available text, context, and the original link. Video AI transcription is not available yet.

What happens to notes already in my vault?

They are yours. The plugin writes plain Markdown into a folder you choose, and those files stay in your vault no matter what happens to your Save2Obsidian account.
